The first edition of Sambil Emprende marked a milestone in boosting the Venezuelan entrepreneurial ecosystem, consolidating itself as a platform of national reach that not only promoted talent and innovation, but also generated a significant social impact.

With more than 1,200 registered projects from all over the country, this initiative toured the eight Sambil Centers in Venezuela —San Cristóbal, Margarita, Chacao, Valencia, Barquisimeto, Paraguaná, La Candelaria and Maracaibo— through a circuit of semifinals that made it possible to showcase business ideas with high growth potential.
Each day was much more than a competition: it became a space for meeting, learning and connection thanks to the Sambil Hub, a networking experience where entrepreneurs, partners and judges could exchange knowledge, generate opportunities and strengthen the emerging business fabric.
The grand finale took place on October 18th at Cinepic Sambil La Candelaria, bringing together the best projects in the country before a distinguished jury of business leaders and experts in various fields. Venflow, led by Nicolás Passaro, took first place, winning a prize of $15,000, as well as support, mentorship, and opportunities for growth.
In addition, the finalists received cash prizes, access to training programs and visibility opportunities, reinforcing Sambil's commitment to the sustainable development of new businesses.
Beyond the competition, Sambil Emprende also stood out for its social purpose, allocating funds to support Fundana, an organization dedicated to the protection of children and families in vulnerable situations, thus reaffirming Sambil's role as an agent of change in society.
With this first edition, Sambil not only opened a door to entrepreneurship, but also laid the foundations for a program that seeks to consolidate itself as a national benchmark, betting on Venezuelan talent and actively contributing to the country's economic and social growth.
